William Kasitomo has vast experience as a lawyer spanning over 30 years. He holds an LLB Honours degree from the University of Zimbabwe. He got registered as a Legal Practitioner, Notary Public and Conveyancer in 1992. He spent 14 years in the public sector in Zimbabwe serving as a Magistrate. He has presided over both criminal and civil cases. He rose through the ranks up to the Regional Magistrate level. Incidentally William also served as a Magistrate for a similar period in Namibia performing similar functions. The opportunity to be exposed to two jurisdictions has provided William with unique versatility and invaluable insights into the intricacies of the various branches of the law. Since joining private practice in 2019 William has developed a keen interest in property rights, civil litigation, mining law, administration of deceased estates, children’s rights and international law.
